I was traipsing through three different galleries of headboards on the Better homes & Gardens Web site this morning and collected a few that I fancied.
I’ve stapled a CB2 turqouise and white Larch duvet cover behind our bed to act as a headboard/wall art (combined with the black/brown Malm headboard/bed shelf set). Living in a rental with beige walls kills my creative spirit if I don’t change things up every now and then. I’ve got to take a few pictures of the most recent setup. Remind me to do that later, will ya? Thanks.
The trend in anything “innovative” since the invention of the iPod (kudos Steve J.!) seems to be to add a lowercase i in front of a word. Google even works the trend with the iGoogle homepage Web application that serves as a portal for the many applications Google offers users. Have a gmail address? I definitely suggest setting up an iGoogle as a homepage.
You can add a bunch of widgets to the page, including a glimpse at your inbox and your Google chat contacts. I’ve got a quote of the moment, the weather around work, the weather in Seattle, Dublin and London (a girl can dream!), the word of the day, and People.com and New York Times headlines.
To personalize the iGoog even more, Google’s allowed users to choose “themes” that dictate the image in the header, the font colors, etc. Today, much to my pleasure, I got online and found that there are now “artist themes” to choose from. Which is, of course, awesome.
