I know, I know. That last entry was a Friday’s Bits too. You’re saying, “There are other days in the week, Mandy, why are you neglecting them?” I have no good excuse other than … work? *cue maniacal laugh*

Today, I look like a 15-year-old skater boy, clothing-wise.

(Polyvore is fun!)

It’s really a good thing I didn’t wear my white belt instead of the navy … I’d be forced to go to Hot Topic to hang with my own kind. :P

Earlier this week, I downloaded the Dr. Horrible’s Sing-along Blog soundtrack so that I can, of course, memorize all the songs and Sing-Along (duh!) when I watch the show. The Boyf and I watched all three parts last night, and I noticed a bunch of stuff I hadn’t the first go-round. Like, when Penny and Dr. Hammer are eating in the soup kitchen, Dr. Horribs is disguised in a mustache, serving said soup, missing the bowls entirely in his anger. Hah! Due to this downloading and watching, I’ve now had many parts of the many songs from this musical stuck in my head for the past 48 hours. I can almost sing the entirety of the first Bad Horse letter without musical accompaniment.

This morning, as I was groggily coming out of my sleep-stupor, I had a thought. Would Dr. Horrible’s alter-ego/”Bizzaro Dr. Horrible” be good, but with the prerequisite mustache and pointy goatee? These are the things I ponder at 6:10 in the morning. (The Boyf says, “Bad guys don’t need alter-egos, silly.” :P)

Links!

Check these out! I could totally paint them up to look like Dr. Horrible’s … but what would I do with them then? Be the girl who wears both goggles and glasses? Become a mad scientist in my spare time? (Also: This blog has a ton of links to places to buy Dr. Horrible costume-making gear. Ideas!)

These hats are awesome. Would I wear one in public? I probably don’t have the balls (is that inappropriate for me to say here?). But, they still make me want to learn how to knit. (So do these socks! And these!)

I wish I lived closer to New York again. I would love to go stand in line for hours to read children’s literature—particularly Harry Potter—with complete strangers.

I also wish I lived closer to Seattle. Forks is celebrating Stephanie Meyer day Sept. 13. (There’s even drag-racing for those non-Twilight guys! Man, I miss the northwest.)

Finally, because there hasn’t been enough Twilight-love here lately (for my tastes, at least, everyone else is probably groaning):

From the Fall TV Preview edition of Entertainment Weekly, a copy of which I now urgently need to get my hands on.

Mmmm. (Sorry Monkey!)
