(That’s supposed to be an homage to “Hammer Time.” Leave me alone.)
Possible Dr. Horrible sequel or movie!
That deserves a little: ![]()
Go Queen Elizabeth.
Susan Boyle is my idol.
She recently got a bit of a makeover, which she did on her own account. The lady’s got spunk, for serious.
A third edition of the Creebobby Times Tables. I adore these things.
I MUST LEARN TO KNIT. I ordered these patterns, to give myself a kick in the shorts. Monsters = MoW.
Jeph Jacques, creator of Questionable Content, which I’ve linked before, recently found out that asteroids hitting planets can throw dinosaurs into space. From Scientific American, of all places.
Neil Gaiman recently posted on his Twitter about this neat cover of Bohemian Rhapsody:
Yes, I am totes down with name-dropping. I also follow John Mayer, who said this the other day:
johncmayer I want a pair of Crocs made from the same material as UGGs. They would be the most comfortable and offensive shoe ever.
You know I laughed, then attempted to re-Tweet (RT) it, then messed up, then got all flustered because I didn’t want to John Mayer to see that I had RT’ed him and messed up in the process, so I deleted it, then decided not to RT it afterall because I felt utterly lame.
True story.
And to finish off this week’s bits, a little Twilight/New Moon love:
The video is kind of awkward, and they obviously don’t know how to speak Italian, but THEY ARE DRESSED FOR THE BIRTHDAY SCENE YOU GUYS. I’m a just little excited.

I am so excited, I could spit.
The latest:
Christopher Heyerdahl* as Marcus
Cameron Bright as Alec
Daniel Cudmore as Felix
Charlie Bewley as Demetri
and Tinsel Korey as Emily (who I forgot to include in my last post.)
*He’s Hollan! And Todd! And Druitt/Jack the Ripper! And Sasquach! I adore him.

I’m slowly running out of witty things to call these posts … perhaps I will start to repeat myself recycle?
NEW HARRY POTTER TRAILER OF AWESOMENESS!
I’m so happy with the choice to stick with David Yates for the last few movies. They need the darkness he brought to HP5.
I want one of these. Especially if it comes with a Han Solo to snuggle.
Some promos for the new Stargate Universe:
I’m still wary. The feel of the videos is very … Battlestar.
Leonard Nimoy is set rumored to be playing William Bell in upcoming episodes of Fringe. I approve. (Thanks Socks!)
Ever wondered how R2D2 would ask “Where is the bathroom?” Now you know.
A couple items from Has Boobs, Reads Comics (Thanks Jill!):
Wolverine as a dairy afficianado.
Even Disney recycles:
And, the LolCat Bible … Just because.

The rumors have been rolling in for months now (remember when Ben Barnes was supposed to play Aro?), but we’re finally seeing actual people actually being cast for New Moon’s roles.
The wolf pack has been fully cast:
Chaske Spencer—Sam

Bronson Pelletier—Jared

Alex Meraz—Paul

Kiowa Gordon—Embry

Tyson Houseman—Quil

The Volturi are being cast a little more slowly:
Noot Sear—Heidi

Jamie Campbell Bower—Caius

Michael Sheen—Aro

(Some of these photos are from LaineyGossip, who’s seriously got the hook-up when it comes to photos from Vancouver. Color me jealous.)
I’ll post more pictures as more people are cast.

But I hope you all have a happy one! I’m relaxing on day 3 of my 4 day weekend. :D

I dislike April Fools’ Day. I don’t like being made to look like an idiot, or come across information I am unsure of. It bothers me. That said, I don’t partake. If you do, keep it clean?
I’ve got work coming out the ears this weekend, and won’t be around the office much. So enjoy your early bits.
These anti-theft lunch bags are awesome. Although, I think I’d think twice about eating my own sandwich if it was in one of these.
Yikes.
Check out the new trailer for Spike Jonze’s Where the Wild Things Are. (I would have embedded it, but the vids on YouTube keep going missing.) I need to re-read this book a.s.a.p.
Another edition of the Creebobby Comics timestable … this time with unicorns! And pirates! And piratey unicorns!
JFK is AFK:
I loooooove Thinkin’ Lincoln, which I guess also means I loooooove Miles Grover? I don’t even know the guy, but his humor rocks my socks.
I have a large-ish Millenium Falcon sitting above my kitchen cabinets (and I’d kill for the $400 Death Star that Lego sells), but this guy’s lego creations kind of put it to shame.
I think I might have posted about the Stormtrooper Flickr set before, but I am too lazy to go searching for it. (I need to get my tags in order, stat!) Check out the (new to me) Adventures of TK-027.
We also have an AT-AT in our kitchen (it’s Star Wars-themed) and I now want to take Dog with us when we go places, and pose him around the apartment, because of these pictures of ATilla. (So stinkin’ cute!)
People who can take non-art materials and use them for art purposes amaze me. I’m a big proponent of recycling materials; kleenex boxes were always my friend when I was little. These portraits made from old cassette tapes blow my Barbie shoebox beds out of the water.
I posted about this on Facebook, but it looks like Totall Looks Like agrees with me. (And this came out last month, so either Avon’s pulling an early April Fools’ or someone in the marketing department is Made of Win.)
