I’ve had this song stuck in my head for days:
You’re welcome.
LINKS’N'PICS!
In honor of Sunday being Father’s Day, here’s an article on how to be the best dad ever titled: “Passing the Phaser”. A teaser:
4: Make the kids drink Earl Grey tea. “Because that’s what Jean-Luc drinks.”
Nedroid Picture Diary is brilliant, but I’m sure I’ve mentioned that fact before.
This:

is also awesome. You can bid to buy the original here. *HINT*
I think we might need one of these to go along with the Darth Vader voice changer we have sitting above the fridge. Perhaps one day, we will live in a house with a Star Wars kitchen, Star Trek bathroom and Dr. Who parlor.
Um … Yeah …

All the proceeds go to charity …
This series of photos, Fallen Princesses, fits in with some others I’ve posted in the past (like at the bottom of this Bits). It’s a little heartbreaking to see such ideals have to deal with real life situations, but they’re very interesting.
Finally, your almost-too-cute-to-handle pic for the week:

He’s going to go listen to the dulcet tones of Death Cab once you’re done ogling.

So, I lied. I felt bad about not posting a Bits. So here I am. Ignore the post before this. It is not the Bits you are looking for.
STUFF!
This video is extraordinarily inspiring:
And makes me wish that I’d gone to design school. Maybe once I win the lottery (not that I play), I’ll go back, just for fun.
There’s an Alice of Wonderland miniseries in the works for the SciFi channel. I am exited about this. Included in the cast is Colm Meaney (Chief O’Brien!) as the King of Hearts, Andrew Lee Potts (Primeval’s Connor) as the Mad (ish?) Hatter, and Tim Curry as the Dodo. I am also excited (natch) for the Tim Burton version, which comes out in 2010, and stars the likes of Johnny Depp, Michael Sheen and Anne Hathaway.

(Mia Wasikowska, who plays Alice. I am LOVING that skirt. And coat.)
Speaking of El Burton, according to The Nerdy Bird, he’s soon to be the focus of an exhibit at the Modern Museum of Art in New York. Now, if only I can finagle a trip to NYC before April …
Ever wanted to mix your own song using only Ewok speech? WHO HASN’T?! Do it here.

I now have to go find myself a copy of Battle for Endor.
Finally, I leave you with this:
Disapproving Frog …

Disapproves.

Just because I can.
(See the original post, here.)
Have a great weekend, y’all. I’m headed out for steak and The Hangover with the Boyf.
I’m just not feeling it at the moment. The stuff I have saved isn’t much, and it’s not all that interesting.
Perhaps later this weekend … Next Friday for certain.
Loves to you all!

It’s been a long week.
I picked up the Sims 2 and Sims Castaway for my DSi, however, which has made the time go by rather quickly. I should have known better. I am addicted. I’m pondering Sims 3 … I kind of wish they made it for the Wii so I’d actually use that darned contraption.
NEAT THINGS!
This is a long “article” about a prank/improv/art piece that spans years. Take one gamer, research him on the Internets, arrive at his house and tell him you’re from the future … You should just read it. It gets even more complex from there.
I google myself from time to time, to see what the Internets are saying. I found myself in the link list of a blog I don’t remember being to before, and I am very flattered. It’s called Star Wars Action Figures Doing What They Do Best and features some awesome photography, including this pic:

I love how much purpose and feeling there is in this photo. These people have places to go and things to do!
Ever wondered what the President sees on his Blackberry screen? Wonder no more, with Obama’s Blackberry. (Miles Grover did this one better in his AFK JFK series.)
Send your name to Mars! Someday, when I get a call from an alien wanting to sell me a timeshare on Risa, I will shake my fist of fury at NASA.
I got this yesterday and I had to share.

You too can be a poop expert. Check it: WhoPooped.org
Finally: I’m not one for cosplay (although I envy those brave enough to do it), but this corset The Nerdy Bird twittered about today is just totally made of awesome.
Just wanted to post this, in case you were under a rock last night. ;)
Link to MySpace vid, in case the YouTube version gets taken down.
